As an early Christmas gift my mom gave a Bumble & bumble gift certificate. I've never used any of their products before and am therefore in a bit of a dilemma: should I get the Gentle shampoo and Super Rich conditioner, or the Creme de Coco set? Which would you say is best for dry hair that breaks easily? ty!

Why on earth are movie drinks the size of a bucket? Who can drink that much in the period of a movie (a couple hours)? And why was that a smaller sized drink? I still have half of a 'cup' (aka; small bucket) of watered down Coke and the movie ended 4 hours ago.

I've got hellish dark circles/puffiness under my eyes, especially since I started picking up more hours, with more physical work, and the dry winter air. I'm beginning to look like I got punched in face with my undereye bruising-looks.
However, I am also super-pale with cool undertones (I use L'Oreal True Match Alabaster C1 on the occasions I wear make-up and literally haven't been able to find anything else pale enough that isn't too yellow). And I abhore looking like I'm wearing make up, which is generally what happens when I put on the darker, yellow based concealers designed to rid me of dark circles.
Help?
Speaking of dry skin, I saw pure shea butter in the bath aisle of the grocery store the other day. As someone with terminally dry skin (and horribly pale skin), would shea butter be a good winter alternative or would I need to mix it with something?

Is it possible to use a TiVo without paying the subscription fee? My DVR is malfunctioning, but it is still under warranty. The store where I bought it now sells only TiVos, so if I go to exchange the DVR, I'll have to exchange it for an equivalent product in the store -- meaning a TiVo. And if I get a refund, I still won't be able to buy an equivalent non-TiVo DVR because the places in my city that sell hard-drive video recorders sell TiVos only, or they sell the PVRs from the cable company, which cost twice as much as I paid for my original DVR. I would take a TiVo as replacement for my DVR, but I don't want to pay the subscription fee for a TiVo.

So, I saw Avatar today, and there was a preview for a fourth Shrek movie. And now I'm about to watch Harry Potter, and there's a preview on the DVD for Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove. Starring Steve Irwin's daughter.
My question is as follows: If you were going to make a millionth sequel to a children's movie, what would it be? Would you try to make it great like the original, or totally phone it in and go straight-to-home-video?

Hey all. I'm pretty much fed up with my skin and am looking for some advice/suggestions. :)
1. I'm fair-skinned with golden undertones, but I have a lot of red on my cheeks and around my forehead. Is there a corrective base/primer that helps even out skin tone and cover up the red, but isn't too heavy? I have combination and sensitive skin.
2. I look exhausted all the time. Do you have any suggestions for a concealer that will brighten my eye area and cover up dark circles?

My brother is getting married in January in Chile (his fiancée is Chilean) and we're trying to plan a bachelorette party for her. One suggestion was to have a scavenger hunt that ends at a bar or club.
What kinds of things would you suggest to use in a bilingual scavenger hunt in another country?

| Get a dog in its crate |

I pet sit part time for a local company and right now I am taking care of a client with three dogs. A chihuahua, a boston terrior, and a German Shepherd/Collie mix.
While this client is gone, she wants her dogs in crates. No biggie. They're all crate trained. Well, the big one, Chubs, does not want to go in his crate. He's lonely, I know and he knows what happens when he goes in the crate, he gets left alone for up to 13 hours, stuck in that tiny space. I understand that he doesn't like it, but his owner requested this and left him in the crate.
I spent an hour tonight trying to get him in his crate. I have another job and can't spend a long time there. I need to get in and out of the apartment as quickly as I can while letting them all do their business and feeding and watering them. I tried treats, cheese, toys, gently guiding him in the crate, roughly guiding him in the crate, its just not working. He tries to snap at me and growls at me. He just won't go.
Do any of you know a way to get him in? I really need to get him to go in quickly as starting tomorrow morning I can't spend more than 30 minutes on the job (which is all that is required of me for a 3 dog residence).

me and my friend are going to a costume party as goths!!
I will do our make-up (wish me luck!!) and I want to do that pale look but not sure how to, especially on my friend that is very "tanned" lol
i don't know what to use and if it would look good on us. I've seen people use white make-up on their face and you can tell it's make-up but I want it to look natural.
Any suggestions on how to do it, what to use and if we should do it at all??( me&anna )
